Safety Training - Course Description

The Rutgers Office of Continuing Education and the NJ Clean Communities Council will offer a Clean Communities Safety Training Course, October 3 and 4, 2018.  The purpose of the course is to provide coordinators with the information they need to organize cleanups that adhere to safety guidelines, and involve volunteers that are unfamiliar with safety regulations. Liability and insurance politics will be covered. The training course is open to coordinators who are Certified Clean Communities Coordinators. CCCC coordinators will earn to earn 9 re-certification credit hours by participating in the two-day course (day #1 - 6 credit hours, day 2, and 3 credits hours.) If you only wish to attend the field day (October 4), a registration option is available.

The October 3 class will take place from 9:00am - 3:30pm, at the Ralph Geiger Turfgrass Education Center in New Brunswick. The October 4 class will take place along the waterfront in Perth Amboy, with participants meeting at The Barge in Perth Amboy in the morning - registrants will be given the exact time once detailed are finalized. The course is required for recertification.
